DANVERS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS

The Department of Public Works (DPW) is committed to providing customer services and infrastructure in a quality fashion through the means of best engineering and management practices with a team of staff dedicated to professionalism, excellence, and customer satisfaction. These goals are accomplished effectively, efficiently, and with accountability to you, the community we serve.

DPW Administration directs and supervises all other divisional operations and interfaces with Town departments, other governmental jurisdictions, and citizen and business groups or individuals.

STAFF:
The Public Works Director, Director of Operations, Program Engineer, Program Coordinator, Senior Secretary/ Administrative Assistant, and Secretary constitute the DPW Administrative Staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project planning, communications, special projects, emergency operations, personnel, budgeting, collective bargaining, training, safety programs, winter operations, maintenance of roads, sidewalks, water, sewer, and grounds, and management of refuse and recycling collection are the responsibility of the DPW.
